The First Amendment

 The First Amendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I think the First Amendment is a law that is necessary to ensure that the people can have some freedom of speech without getting in trouble with the government or other people in public. Even though we are still limited to what we can say in public, the First Amendment gives us a little bit of leeway on what we can say among others.

I chose this image above because I think it shows a great way of the pillars holding the building up, and if we were to take one of these freedoms away from the people, the building will fall. To me, this shows that if we took one of the freedoms away, the people would fall apart, and it would result in a conflict for the people.
